A recent article from The Sun News featured Benjamin Jenerette, who was recently named "Toast of the Coast" female runner of the year.  Please keep in mind, Benjamin started running roughly two years prior to be named female runner of the year.  Benjamin like her mother, Katherine are natural born athletes with some amazing God-given talents.  Katherine attended Coastal Carolina on a Track and Field scholarship and participated in US Army All European Track & Field Championship.  Katherine then went on to "walk on" at USC Coastal and while there she was recognized as one of the top runners in her region. Benjamin is a perfect example of a few things: God-given talent, good genetics, diligence, and an incredible work ethic.  There is no doubt that Benjamin takes after Katherine in this aspect and will continue to grow and prosper in Track and Field.  Zola Bud, a former Olympian is one of Benjamin's running coaches, along with her mom, Katherine.
